~ Meet The Doctors ~
~ Dr. R. Dean Fuller ~

Dr. Fuller
As a child, Dr. Fuller’s life goal, as with many kids, was to play professional sports. Although he played basketball and baseball in college, it was as a child with health problems that really changed his life. When Dr. Fuller was 11 years old, he began to have stomach difficulties and was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. After seeing multiple doctors his mother took him to the chiropractor and for the first time he was improving. Although it took time to heal, this forever transformed his life, igniting a fire to serve others that burns brightly today.
Dr. Fuller’s motto for his life is to serve God by serving families through the vehicle of Chiropractic. He graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1993 and from there began a quest to find a mentor from whom he could learn. This led him to Smyrna, Georgia and Dr. Richard Franks, who had one of the largest practices in the history of chiropractic. Dr. Fuller moved to Georgia and was amazed at the personal and professional knowledge he learned from Dr. Franks and within a few years had one of the largest practices in the world.
Since that time, Dr. Fuller has continued to open practices in the hopes of serving more people through Chiropractic, presently has four Chiropractic clinics, and is the founder of Fuller “LIFE” Chiropractic Centers. He has been extremely involved with his profession being a lifetime member of the International Chiropractic Association, a member of the Federation of Straight Chiropractors Organization, and World Chiropractic Alliance. He has served on the board of the Georgia Chiropractic Council and is a lecturer at multiple chiropractic colleges around the nation.

He is involved in his local community as a Partner in Education and a member of Heritage Christian Church. He takes great inspiration from his two children, who encourage him daily with the same enthusiasm as he has to make the world a healthy place the way God intended through chiropractic.

~Dr. Zachary VanBuren~

Dr. Van Buren was born in Crestview, FL, but moved when he was a child to Murfreesboro, TN where he spent the majority of his life growing up. Growing up he was very into sports, especially baseball and football, as well as playing the guitar and piano. All throughout his childhood he knew he wanted to be some sort of doctor, but more importantly he knew he wanted to help people.

When Dr. Van Buren was young his sister began to have dangerous and severe heart problems that restricted her to a life of inactivity and fear. She spent 6 years taking the route of medicine with no results and no hope. After that, through chiropractic care, God healed his sister completely and gave her her life back. From this moment Dr. Van Buren knew he wanted to save lives through chiropractic.

He attended Middle Tennessee State University and earned a 4 year degree in Biology. He then went immediately to Life University in Marietta, GA and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic as well as received extensive training in Gonstead and Torque Release Techniques in addition to the standard curriculum.

He has now come to join the team at Fuller Life Chiropractic to show patients how they can lose their health and then gain it back by applying God’s principles for health and living to their lives. Dr. Van Buren is committed to serving the Columbus community by sharing Health God’s Way and aiding in the Fuller Life Chiropractic mission to serve God by serving others through principled chiropractic care.

~Dr. Christopher Odom~

As a child, Dr. Odom had severe allergies and intense asthma.  His childhood was plagued with trips to the doctor and a round robin approach to prescription medications.  At the age of 19, Dr. Odom developed horrible pain in both of his shoulder joints.  This turned out to be a pivotal event in his life.  After being under chiropractic care for only 3 months, all shoulder pain and all signs and symptoms related to allergies and asthma was gone.  Chiropractic changed his life and gave him a new sense of purpose.

Dr. Odom graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science.  He graduated with honors.  After graduation, Dr. Odom attended Life University, and received his doctorate in chiropractic, also graduating with honors.  Dr. Odom has specialized training in pediatric chiropractic received from hundreds of hours of post graduate education, with the majority of the education coming from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Since receiving his doctorate in chiropractic in 2008, Dr. Odom has dedicated his life to leading people in taking control of their own health.

~Dr. Carly Cangelosi~

Dr. Carly is from Valdosta, GA. She grew up playing every sport but discovered her love of tennis when she was in middle school. She played competitive tennis for most of her life and continued to play through college.

Dr. Carly attended Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, GA where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. While at Georgia Southwestern, she was on the tennis team and was in a sorority. She always knew she wanted to work in health care and when she was in her senior year of undergrad, she did her internship at a chiropractic office. She instantly fell in love with chiropractic and knew God was calling her to be a chiropractor.

Upon graduating, she attended Life University in Marietta, GA where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic.  Dr. Carly is excited to serve God by serving as many people as possible.
